ACK St. James Buruburu is one of the 69 parishes in the diocese of Nairobi it has been in existence for the last 36 years and its impact felt across generations. It has a diverse membership base largely consisting of young people and senior citizens. Over the years, the parish has made significant gains in ministry and continues to grow in many dimensions including congregation size, programs, projects, as well as physical and operational infrastructure.

VISION STATEMENT
An empowered church impacting society holistically. An empowered church is a church that has the capacity to holistically impact society with the Gospel of Christ Jesus. This includes spiritually nurtured members who are the body of Christ, projects and programs that respond to the needs of members and the general society, management structures and systems that suffice functional needs, as well as physical and operational infrastructure that support effective operation and delivery of services.
MISSION STATEMENT
To equip the church through Bible-based sustainable approaches for impact in society. Guided by the great commission (Mathew 28: 16-20), we will use bible based approaches to minister to the St. James congregation and reach out to the community in the wider catchment area of the church with the transformational Gospel of Christ. In doing so, we will ensure that our approaches and programs are contextual and respond adequately to the diverse needs of the people.
